Purpose

This pull request updates the deployment and quota check documentation to clarify instructions for using VS Code Web and terminal environments. The changes focus on improving the onboarding experience by providing more precise steps and prompts for users working in different environments.

Documentation improvements for deployment and quota checks:

  • VS Code Web onboarding: Updated documents/DeploymentGuide.md to clarify that the AI Foundry terminal will automatically run sh install.sh to install dependencies, and added instructions for handling file overwrite prompts and environment naming.
  • Authentication instructions: Changed the login command in documents/QuotaCheck.md from azd auth login to az login, and added a note to use az login --use-device-code when working in VS Code Web. [1] [2]

Terminal and script usage guidance:

  • Terminal selection: Updated instructions to recommend selecting Git Bash or bash in the VS Code terminal dropdown for script execution.
