Feature Request: Add a tick to include today's events for items shown before or after the current date #143

First thank you for the useful plugin :)
This is related to #88:
For now, if I want to filter events by date before or after today, it doesn't show today's events, only those before or after. It would be useful to have a tick box for 'Include current day' or an option in the dropdown menu such as 'Show items after the current date and today' or 'Show items before the current date and today'. I use https://github.com/GatherPress/gatherpress/ as an events plugin.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, or it could be a GatherPress-related issue.
