we do have an experimental sql driver but decide to not work on it because milvus feture is iterated very fast and we don't have a good parser except for filter expression. We are open to take contributions . Feel free to reach me out at [email protected] |

In fact with AI, most of the APIs should be able to used very easy, try Milvus Agent on milvus website could also help a lot |

We have noticed that AnalyticDB for MySQL facilitates approximate similarity search on unstructured data and offers a SQL-like query language (ALISQL) for vector operations. This highlights a significant challenge we face in promoting Milvus: currently, users can only perform vector searches using SDKs for languages like Python or Go, which presents a relatively high barrier to entry. If a more familiar interface, such as a SQL-like language, were available, it would substantially reduce the learning curve and greatly ease adoption and promotion.
