A thank you and showcase: My paper button row dashboard

Hi everyone, I’ve been using paper button rows for a few years now and it is easily my favorite card. As a web dev it feels like writing plain HTML and CSS, and after a while I realized you can do just about anything with it.

I’ve tried other options like mushroom cards, the built-in cards with card-mod (what a mess), or bubble cards, but I always end up back with paper button row. It gives better results with less code and loads faster than anything else I’ve used, basically instantly. My dashboard is now almost entirely made from custom paper button rows, and it’s amazing what you can build. A few of my favorite parts, all done only with that card:

• A dynamic “favorites” card that shows the right buttons based on time, temperature, entity states, and more
• A modern carousel with faded edges and scroll snap
• A fullscreen media card with changing sections like radio and speaker grouping

This is just a thank you for an awesome card and a small attempt to maybe inspire others.
