App closes immediately // Doesn't toggle gray scale

On first start, the app advises me to grant permissions via adb. After I do that, the app never opens, it only shows a switch for a split second and then closes again, but grayscale never gets toggled.

I use a Pixel 7 (stock ROM, no root) with Android 16.

The behaviour of the app should be to toggle the grayscale, then exit. Unfortunately, I don't have an Android 16 at hand. Would you be able to provide the logcat logs?
