Speedybee F405 V5 and iNav 8.0.1

Hi,

I recently bought a Speedybee F405 V5 FC and wanted to install iNav 8.0.1 on it. The manufacturer claims compatibility with BF, iNav, and AdruPilot, so I thought installation would be easy.

It turns out this FC isn't on the controller list. I realize it's a new design, so I'd like to ask if it will be added to iNav this year.

And will there be a bigger problem with the ESC, which is based on the OX32?

Why is that?

Does this require a lot of work to implement?

I.e do I need to know logic of inav or just mapping x to y

I bought the fc stack not realising no firmware supports it

I don't mind trying to add support for it

It needs the same files as the V4 seen here:

The values for the V5 may be very similar, or may be very different.
Sometimes a new "V" version is just one or two small changes. Sometimes it's a completely new and different board.

It's annoying....
I contacted them some Weeks ago and they just simply said that they don't provide International Support. But that does not really have anything to do with promoting something that should have an INAV Target and they don't provide it.
So I did my thinkering around it and came to almost the same target definition in the end. The only thing I made different is setting the VTX Power switch to USER1. It seems to works exactly the same way as the TBS Lucid Wing AIO. So far everything that I need seem to work well. Kind of disappointed by SpeedyBee since they created good Products for a reasonable Price but things seems to be off here.

I updated my version last week to use USER1 here after realizing that the VTX powered off when arming. Will be testing actual flight in a few days.

Update: It's very cold up here in Sweden right now. I'll get back once it's possible for me to continue testing.

Update 2: Tested and working without issues.
