Project Discontinuation?

Hi,

I'm working in a development platform which can be either intalled on premise or in cloud. Currently we're adding serverless capabilities and after some research I've seen that fnproject/fn could be a great alternative: For cloud installations we could offer it as a SaaS service via Oracle, and on premise with clients still reluctant on moving their workloads to cloud, using the fnproject as server.

Everything looks great with this project except the activity, because despite of the activity in the APIs projects, this one looks like a dead project. Does anyone know if this lack of commits in the main project is due to discontinuation?. Does Oracle continue updating the project only for SaaS?.

I am also curious about this. If this is dead, what alternatives should I consider.

I've created a fork of the server fn, and then fixed most obvious problemas (memory & memory_swap). But currently, I'm educating my self on Apache OpenWhisk.
