How do i auto fullscreen a single window

when i open a window, i want to to go to full screen rather than float when it is a single window on the desktop, and i do not mind tiling when i add another window to it. currently i have to do it manually every time i open a window. Thank you in advance :)

i guess the pnly choice but uhhh, its still horrible. I cant even imagine why you need this

thank you so much, well the side bar sort of takes up valuable screen space when its only a single window opened, and steam sort of bugs out sometimes, underlapping the side bar
