URL variables: empty values

Why does Budibase return to the root screen when empty URL variables are passed?

If I set up a screen with "/testapp/xxx/:a/:b" and call the screen with "/testapp/xxx/123", the screen is not displayed, but the root "/testapp/".

How can I pass empty variables?

If you have a URL configured as /testapp/xxx/:a/:b then two variables will be expected. You could duplicate your screen with the route: /testapp/xxx/:a, or you could pass a string that represents "empty".

E.g. /testapp/xxx/123/null

thanks - but /testapp/xxx/123/null will pass "null" as a string, not as an empty string

Incomplete/empty URL variables work fine in the design preview, so I thought maybe this can be fixed.
But I guess I'll have to find a workaround with state variables.
